What to wear Horse Riding?
What to Wear While Horse Riding
When it comes to riding a horse, you need to keep in mind that the items of clothing you wear will have a profound impact on the experience that you have. You might not know this and may not have thought about it, but clothing isn’t just for the sake of looking good while riding - it all serves a practical, safety-oriented purpose.
Knowing what to wear whilst horse riding is critical, which is why we’ll be taking a look at some of the different components that you need in order to effectively and safely ride your horse.
The Absolute Basics
Before you can get started with riding your horse, you will need to make sure that you have the absolute basics ready and waiting to go, because these will make such a difference.
1. A compliant riding helmet for horseback riding.

2. Proper riding pants – Leggings, breeches, jeans or jodhpurs. Bear in mind, anything with an inner pant leg seam will run and chaff. You need to have something that is flexible enough to cope with the motions of riding a horse.
We recommend –
Rider Leggings – Equestrian rider apparel
Activewear meets riding apparel, these legging fit like a glove, offer apparel movement, phone pockets, belt loops and best of all, some fun prints to liven up your rider wardrobe.
3. Boots which have a heel on them. This prevents your feet from being caught in a stirrup when you fall. Long Riding boots are believed to offer more protection when riding compared to short riding boots, and help prevent chafing and pinching from stirrup leathers. Although long riding boots are great for their qualities when riding, they are less loved for on-foot yard duties as they can limit movement and flexibility.
